Hi, I’m Anastasia Katchan, and I’m so glad you’re here. With 15 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker and AASECT-certified sex therapist, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people through some of life’s toughest challenges. I specialize in supporting individuals through trauma, depression, anxiety, and sexual dysfunction by creating a safe and compassionate space where you can feel heard and understood.

Over the years, I’ve worked with many people who struggle with issues like erectile dysfunction, pain during sex, difficulty reaching orgasm, and premature ejaculation. These concerns can be incredibly distressing, often affecting not just sexual health but emotional well-being, self-esteem, and relationships. I believe it’s essential to approach these concerns with care and empathy, especially when they’re connected to deeper emotional wounds or trauma.

Five years ago, I became a certified trauma therapist after recognizing how profoundly trauma can impact all aspects of life, including sexuality. Trauma can show up in so many ways—whether it’s affecting your ability to connect with your body, feel safe during intimacy, or experience pleasure. I’ve seen how past experiences, especially childhood trauma or adverse relationships, can create barriers to healthy sexual expression. That’s why I’m passionate about helping clients heal both emotionally and sexually, working through these challenges holistically.

In our sessions, you’ll find a space where you can be open without fear of judgment. We’ll work together to untangle difficult emotions, identify patterns that no longer serve you, and develop practical tools to help you feel more in control. Using a mix of Sex Therapy, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I’ll guide you through strategies that fit your life—whether that means managing anxiety, improving relationships, or rediscovering intimacy. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools to help you move forward with confidence.
